Order Settings

In the order settings, you can specify whether assigning order contents during packing is mandatory or not. Here you can also determine the standard status of a completed order.

Specifying shipping content

Enabling the option 'Specify shipping content' ensures that the packer must always indicate which items are in each shipment. This is particularly useful when you have multiple shipments per order, to build in a final check during packing or for example with insured shipments to know the precise value of a package.

When this option is disabled, Stoqflow will automatically place all items in one shipment unless the packer chooses to do so manually.

Scanning during packing

If you enable the option 'Scan during packing', the packer will be forced to scan all items equipped with a barcode during packing. This provides an additional check and reduces the chance of errors when packing orders. When this option is disabled, the packer can choose not to scan items, which may be faster but also increases the likelihood of errors.

The "Mandatory with possibility to ignore" option can be useful if for example not every item has a readable barcode. Here the packer can choose to add items to the shipment via buttons on the screen despite this.
